Atty. Cabrera is a regular speaker in estate planning forums. Having succeeded his father in this field of expertise, he has spoken before civic organizations, residents of plush villages in Metro Manila, lawyers’ and businessmen’s forums, senior executives and board members of business corporations, officers and preferred clients of banks, as well as financial advisors and clients of financial institutions. He has also spoken before the Filipino-American business community in Hawaii and the officers and staff of the Philippine Legislative Liaison Office (PLLO) of the Office of the President.

Atty. Cabrera’s strength lies in his ability to communicate the many and oftentimes complicated legal concepts in a manner easily understood by the layman – spiced up with wit, humor and true stories that drive home the point about the importance of preparation and planning.

His many years of experience as a former executive of one of the largest financial institutions in the Philippines afforded him a broad perspective of estate planning, offering his readers, audience and clients with an array of options and practical solutions to their concerns regarding their estate. His audience usually leaves his forum with a better appreciation and understanding of succession and inheritance issues, the planning process and the various tools available to estate owners.

Atty. Cabrera studied grade school at San Beda College, attended high school at Ateneo de Manila University and earned his Bachelor’s degree in Economics at the University of the Philippines in Diliman. He took up law at the University of San Carlos in Cebu during 21-year stint in Cebu as exec. 

Apart from managing the law office, Atty. Cabrera also sits as Chairman of the Board of the Wealth Management Center for Communications and Research, Inc., an institution dedicated to the advancement of the profession of financial and wealth planning advisorship and consultancy.  He is also a board member of Happy Horizons Children’s Ranch, a Cebu-based humanitarian ministry dedicated to the transformation and defense of abandoned and trafficked children in the Philippines.

Atty. Cabrera is married to Ma. Teresa T. Cabrera and they are blessed with three sons – Paolo Angelo, Juan Marco and Leandro Miguel – and a lovely daughter, Katrina Angeli.
